Currently I am......

loving// These shoes. I plan I purchasing them in the next couple of weeks. I feel like they will be such a fall staple for me this year! I've also been wearing my Everette Field Jacket a ton recently. It's been pretty chilly here in Chicago and has definitely been coming in handy!

P.S. If anybody has a really nice (reasonably priced) quilted jacket that they like, let me know by messaging me on tumblr or hmu on twitter! @jojoarrigo.

eating// with the exception of my lunch yesterday: no hamburgers, fries, or pop (although technically I suppose that's a beverage). I've decided to try and be nicer to my body by not feeding it a ton of crap all of the time.

listening to// "Take me to Church" by Hozier, "House of Gold" by Twenty One Pilots, & "Lazeretto" by Jack White. These sings are pretty great if you ask me.

working// a lot more than I used to. I'm now working two jobs, my sterilizing job and also hostessing at a local restaurant. I really enjoy working there and talking to all the people that come in. My wallet doesn't mind the second job either ;)

reading// Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (by JK Rowling). As a part of my 18 before 18, I've started re-reading the Harry Potter series. (slowly but surely) I think this is the 3rd of 4th time I'm reading the first book and it's basically amazing.

writing// 1001 college admissions and supplemental essays. I'm basically going insane.

searching for// the perfect Homecoming dress (and date ;) boys hmu) I'll probably do a post on my top choices like last year, and then reveal which one I wore after the dance! #FUN

what have you guys been loving?

Senior Year First Impressions

I know I haven't posted in a while, but I've just been getting used to my new schedule and life and all that fun stuff. I just wanted to document some of my thoughts about this year so far! I hope all of you guys are having a great year so far and are enjoying yourselves!

Here are my thoughts: (get ready for a word vomit right about now)
+ I'm loving my schedule! I have some larger over-arching projects that I'm working on for classes, but I think they're really interesting.
+What I'm finding most difficult is balancing applying for college and schoolwork. (Not to mention the 8 million after school activities I participate in.
+I've asked one of my teachers for a recommendation latter which is a huge weight off of my shoulders. Yay!
+I'm really liking the class "Business Law." There's no homework, and the class is super interesting. I love the teacher too!
+I've been to (part) of both home football games so far which is really exciting because that was a goal of mine for this year.
+My friend Lydia and I start teaching our dance that we choreographed today to our group for the Winter Dance Show and we're really excited about it!
+I taught our first Religious Ed. of the year already (by myself!) Jessica is realllly sick right now and couldn't make it to class so I had to fly solo. I think it went really well and am looking forward to spending the year with these kids!

I'm sorry for not posting AT ALL recently, but I'm still trying to get my bearings with this year which is proving to be a little more difficult than I anticipated, but I'm definitely going to be trying harder in the next few weeks!

Until Next time!

Friday 5

I don't even remember how long it's been since I've done one of these!

It's hard to believe that I start school in 4 days. My SENIOR YEAR. The year everyone always says is the best year of high school. I'm so excited, but I'm also nervous because of all that I still have to get done before I send in my college applications. I know it's going to be a great year, but I can also see it turning out to be very stressful.

My Lilly Sale items have still not shipped, and I'm extremely upset about that. I really want to wear one of the dresses on my first day of school Wednesday, but I'm not sure that's going to happen at this point.

I was thinking of doing an Agenda organization post.... I did a post similar to this last year (including: crappy pictures, and little to no real information) which is my most viewed post on my site! I'd be happy to do a more updated version with my brand new agenda! :) once my classes start!

Steph from and Beau had their baby Paisley yesterday and they're both looking great!
(from her instagram)
I mean come on... How cute are they?!
Congratulations to the family!
It's been really cool to read her blog every week with her updates, and now little Paisley is here!

My dog whiskers is literally the cutest. Just thought I'd let any of you who forgot, know.

Have a great weekend everybody!!

So exciting!

 Obviously the most important:
