{Holiday Gift Guide} Guys

Shopping for guys can be extremely difficult. If you're shopping for a boyfriend (unlike homegirl here #foreveralone), brother, or guy friend, it can be really difficult to find the perfect gift, especially without spending a fortune. Below, I've included gifts in all price ranges, so hopefully it inspires you to go out and finish that holiday shopping!

[also, happy first night of Hanukkah!]

Starter Pack

Hello all! Can we believe there are only 10 days until Christmas?!

Today, I thought I'd share my starter pack that my cousins brainstormed for me this past weekend. If you don't know what a starter pack is, it's exactly what it sounds like: 4 things that are basically you.

You can find me with any or all of these at any given time. It's true.

Also, I started playing Trivia Crack on Friday, and I CAN'T STOP.
Please start a game with me to feed my addiction:

Motivation

For me, I have the hardest time staying motivated this time of year. I'm in the midst of tech week for the dance show at my school, and finals looming (even though my school doesn't take finals until January 18th! wut?). I have trouble eating healthy, studying, working out, and even putting on makeup in the mornings.
I do have some tips on how to stay motivated however!

1.
Get inspired!
Whether you're having trouble blogging, working out, or doing school work, I find that looking through boards on Pinterest can motivate me so much! By finding a role model, I feel much more motivated to work on whatever I should be working on.
My "academic" role models are often my friends, or Pentel from prepofthesouth.tumblr.com

2.
Start.
By starting a project, you may find that whatever you need to work on will take less time then you imagined.

3.
Reward yourself.
Set a goal, and once you reach it, reward yourself! Whether it's with an afternoon Starbucks, or watching an episode of your favorite show on Netflix. One thing my mom always tells me, and I am definitely not the best at, is rewarding yourself AFTER you've completed your task. I often watch the show beforehand, and find myself losing motivation once it's over.

4.
Take small steps.
By taking each project one step at a time, you can take breaks in between and take pride in your small victories.

5.
Use your agenda.
I love organizing my agenda. I think it's so fun everyday to write in my school assignments and shifts for work! You might think it's stressful to look at your agenda and see all of the things you need to do, but I find that having it all written down serves to calm me down because I have a concrete list of things to get done.

{Holiday Gift Guide} BFF

Hey guys! Today's gift guide is directed towards your BFFs. If you're anything like me, you think of 1001 awesome Christmas gifts for your friends throughout the year, and then once you hit December, all of those great ideas have miraculously disappeared from your head. I always have the HARDEST time trying to brainstorm the perfect gifts for my friends, but one thing I know they'll always love is baked goods, Starbucks giftcards, or music. Those never fail. However, I've also compiled a list down below with some creative ideas for your BFFs! Hopefully you'll find something that inspires you!

P.S. Plenty of these gifts would work really well for birthday gifts as well!

Happy shopping!

{Holiday Gift Guide} Kids

Hey everyone! In case you didn't know, I have a twelve year old brother, as well as tons of cousins slightly younger then me, so my family has to shop for lots of little ones. I've put together some of my picks, but let me tell you, there are some really cute stuff out there this year!

Also, how ridiculous is this car?! Not that I wouldn't buy it for my kid because I would, but I mean, come on.
